International Business
International business division was formed in 1999 to take the brands of CavinKare beyond the boundaries of India. Currently, CavinKare is marketing its brands across more than 13 countries including Srilanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, USA and GCC Countries.
The International Business Division develops and markets products suiting to the specific need of the market. Though the brands’ origin is from India, the offerings are tailored to meet the need of the markets.

SRILANKA : CavinKare started its operations in Srilanka in 1999. Chik Shampoo, Fairever and Nyle Lotions have made significant inroads in their respective categories. Chik Shampoo has Egg, Black and King Coconut Variants suited for the Srilankan market. Fairever Fruit was launched in Mar 2010 which took the market by storm. Concept acceptance and product superiority ensured immediate acceptance of Fairever Fruit in Srilanka. CavinKare has partnered with one of the biggest business houses of the country for distribution in Srilanka.
BANGLADESH : CavinKare Bangladesh Pvt Ltd (CKBPL) is a 100% subsidiary of CavinKare Pvt Ltd India. It was established in 2004. The business is driven by a team of Sales, Commercial and Administrative staff headed by a Country Manager. CavinKare has also entered into a manufacturing agreement with a local third party unit where Fairever Fairness Cream and Chik Shampoo are currently manufactured. CKBPL also imports and markets products that include Nyle Shampoo, Nyle Oil and Indica Hair Colours from CavinKare India.
NEPAL : CavinKare’s operations in Nepal have been in existence since 1999. Chik Shampoo and Indica Hair Colour have made a significant impact in their respective categories. Chik Shampoo was rated 34th amongst the Nepal’s Top Brands in a research conducted by A C Nielsen in 2006. Fairever and Nyle Shampoo also have shown consistent growth over years. Launch of Indica 10 Minutes, a break through innovation in the powder Hair Colour Category, has been a promising initiative to further bolster the growth of business in Nepal. CavinKare has placed an Area Manager in Nepal to give the desired focus.
GCC : One of the fastest growing regions of International Business Division has been the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Countries that include UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. Fairever Fairness Cream has been growing consistently every year which has encouraged its extension into Fairever Fruit and Fairever Anti Ageing Fairness Cream. Nyle Herbal Hair Oil has established itself in the Oil category by offering unique benefits supported by innovative packaging. As a continuation of the legacy of unique offerings, Nyle has launched Treatment Series – a unique concept of a Kit comprising Oil, Shampoo and Leave-On – available in two variants Anti Dandruff and Anti Hairfall. CavinKare has placed a Marketing Professional in Dubai to drive the GCC business.
MALAYSIA & SINGAPORE : CavinKare has established Fairever and Ruchi among the tamil population of Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia is one of the key focus markets which offers huge potential for growth. CavinKare aims to tap the potential by building Fairever, Nyle and Ruchi in Skin Care, Hair Care and Foods Categories respectively. CavinKare has appointed a Sales Personnel in Malaysia who will be driving the business of Malaysia, Singapore and Myanmar.
USA/Canada : The operations in United States of America commenced in 2006. CavinKare entered the Foods Segment with the launch of Ruchi Pickles which is now available in more than 50 variants. Immense potential for growth in Foods Segment has led to the launch of Chinnis Crunchos - Range of South Indian snacks. CavinKare aims to strengthen its presence in US through the launch of Maa Juices and a range of Ready to Eat products.
Geographical Expansion : In a significant move towards geographical expansion, High potential markets like Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, United Kingdom and Australia are being considered for entry. |
