International Business

Started in 1999, International Business division was formed to handle Sales and Marketing of Brands across the Globe. CavinKare International Business markets personal care and food products in countries like Nepal, Srilanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, US and the GCC region.

The International Business division markets products keeping in mind the consumer and the market needs. The brands remain the same but the offerings are suited to specific markets. The endeavour is to offer quality products to consumers and make brands truly international.

SRILANKA
CavinKare started its operations in SriLanka in 1999. CavinKare brands have made significant inroads into the Srilankan market with Chik Shampoo, Fairever Fairness Creams and Nyle Lotions. Fairever Fairness Creams and Nyle Lotions hold the number 2 position in their respective category. Chik Shampoo too has made its presence as a value for money brand. Partnered with one of the big distributors CavinKare brands are available across the market.

BANGLADESH
CavinKare's foray in Bangladesh happened in 2004. CavinKare Bangladesh Private Limited (CKBPL) is a 100% subsidiary of CavinKare India. CavinKare Bangladesh Private Limited is headed by a country manager with a team comprising of Commercial, Sales and Marketing personnel. CavinKare also entered into a manufacturing agreement with a local third party unit. Presently Fairever Fairness Cream and Chik Shampoo are manufactured and marketed. CavinKare has partnered with one of the reputed business houses for distributing the brands across the country. Chik Shampoo has been a success.

NEPAL
CavinKare's operations in Nepal have been in existence since 1999. The Personal Care products in the market are Fairever Fairness Cream, Nyle Shampoo, Chik Shampoo and Indica Hair Colors. The Company has partnered with one of the big distributors and also placed its own sales personnel to give it the desired focus. In 2006, Chik Shampoo was rated 34 th amongst Nepal's top 50 brands - a research conducted by A C Nielsen

GCC
One of the fastest growing regions for the International Business Division has been the GCC. Fairever Fairness Cream has been able to establish itself amongst the Asian community. Nyle Herbal Hair Oil, which caters to Asian as well as the Arab community, has registered phenomenal growth over the last 2 years. The brand has been acclaimed for having an “innovative concept with a world class packaging” in its category. CavinKare has placed personnel in UAE and Saudi to handle the sales operations.

MALAYSIA
CavinKare's products entered Malaysia 5 years ago. Fairever Fairness Cream tasted initial success and holds strong equity amongst the Tamil population. The Company aims to strengthen its presence across the country with many more brands.

US
The operations in US commenced in the year 2006. CavinKare entered the foods segment by launching Ruchi Pickles and Asafoetida to target the Indian expatriates. The Company aims to strengthen its presence across the country with many more brands.

New Countries
In the coming three years, CavinKare plans to strengthen its presence in Myanmar. It also plans to extend its focus across new countries such as Yemen, Philippines, and in the Africa continent.
